The Board of the Scottish Stone Liaison Group (SSLG) has unanimously agreed to provide generous support towards my attendance at the ICCROM 17th International Course on Stone Conservation. SSLG was set up 'to enhance availability, promote utilisation and advance knowledge and skills in design, specification and use of indigenous Scottish stone in existing and new build projects.' Their support shows a great vote of confidence for the Scottish Lime Centre Trust and for the importance of such training opportunities and the chance to promote the Scottish Stone Industry.
